On the 32nd day, the enemy, who was forced to retreat after suffering heavy losses at the front, shelled the city of Barda from Smerch rocket launchers. The bombardment of a densely populated area became a great tragedy, as it killed 21 people and injured over 70. All people of Azerbaijan cried and mourned for Barda but did not break. Everybody waited for our Army to avenge the tragedy on the field of honour. The Commander-in-Chief tweeted the good news at the end of the day: We have liberated the villages of Birinji Aghali, Ikinji Aghali, Uchunju Aghali and Zarnali in Zangilan, Mandili in Fuzuli, Gazanzemi, Khanaghabulag, Chullu, Gushchular and Garaaghaj in Jabrayil and Giyasli, Abilja and Gilijan in Gubadli.
