On the 22nd day of our Patriotic War, our flag was raised over our historical monument, the Khudafarin Bridge, which has a great spiritual meaning for our people. Villages of Hajili and Haji Isagli in Jabrayil district were liberated from occupation. The missile fired at Khizi District, hundreds of kilometres away from the frontline, was neutralized in the air. Our army destroyed numerous enemy weapons and ammunition on the field, including a Su-25 subsonic jet aircraft, and salvaged many more on the battleground. The enemy escaping the battlefield had become commonplace. The Armenians had realized that there was not a force big enough to stop the Azerbaijani Soldier, who was ready to sacrifice his life for his Motherland. We reached the middle of the war. There were still 22 glorious days to go…
