On the 41st day of the Patriotic War, President Ilham Aliyev gave an interview to BBC, where he said: ‘If Armenia does not undertake to withdraw its troops from the occupied territories, we will fight to the end.’ As if confirming the president’s statement, our Army liquidated the Armenian D-30 howitzer at the firing point near Aghdere and a mortar gun along with the crew at the firing point in occupied Goyarkh village in Tartar. Unable to withstand the offensive of the Azerbaijani Army in the battles towards Gubadli-Lachin, the enemy abandoned the positions. The enemy’s strength for resistance was completely exhausted.
