ANAMA
The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) urges civilians living in frontline areas not to touch unknown items.
Since September 27, 2020, ANAMA has been deploying flexible mobile operational teams in frontline areas to carry out operational and urgent operations.
The mentioned groups provide information to the local residents about the rules of safe movement and carry out activities in the direction of education and warning about the danger of landmines mines.
Settlements and agricultural fields, which have been subjected to artillery fire by the Armenian armed forces in recent days, are areas contaminated with ammunition, and these areas under fire are considered dangerous areas. For this reason, the Agency urges residents living in frontline areas, especially children, not to touch unfamiliar items.
ANAMA calls on the local residents to immediately report dangerous or suspicious items to the call centers of the Interior Ministry and the Emergency Situations Ministry, as well as district police departments and local executive authorities.
