Missiles and Artillery Shells Discovered on the Contact Line
The 102 Call Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs referred 19 calls to the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) on shelling of territories in Aghjabadi, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Goranboy and Tartar regions on 1 October 2020.
The special mobile operation groups at the agency and the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted search operations in Aghgol, Koyuk, Garadolag and Kurdler villages in Aghjabadi, Jojug Marjanli village in Jabrayil, Shukurbeyli and Kerimbeyli villages and Zobjug settlement in Fuzuli, Safikurd and Meshali villages in Goranboy, Golyel territory, around the bus station, Duyerli village, and Shikharkh and Yeni settlements in Tartar, which revealed 5 missiles, 1 artillery shells and remains of 4 exploded shells.
The detonation team at the agency has also defused 7 missiles and 1 aerial bomb.
The agency has conducted 71 operations based on 73 signals (operation calls) from 27 September to 1 October 2020. They have reviewed houses, yards, crop fields, pastures, roadsides, forests and schools in Aghdam, Aghdash, Aghjabadi, Barda, Beylagan, Bilasuvar, Goranboy, Naftalan, Fuzuli, Tartar and Hajigabul regions. As a result, they have discovered 1 aerial bomb (OFAB-100), 18 missiles, 1 missile rear (loaded), 3 warheads, 1 152-mm artillery shell (23 pieces in total), a military radio tracker, 1 suicide drone (explosives neutralized on site), 2 missile microcircuits and 16 detonated missile parts.
