Armenia has fired 13 ballistic missiles at Azerbaijan so far
“On October 28, the Armenian armed forces fired a missile at Azerbaijan’s Barda district. The inspection conducted by operational groups of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) detected the remnants of two Smerch missiles. There are 72 bombs in that 9M525 cassette rocket. In total, 144 bombs were found in Barda. Each of them contains 330 grams of explosives and 456 shrapnel,” ANAMA Director Gazanfar Ahmadov said at a briefing in Barda.
He noted that the Armenian armed forces attacked Barda with the same missile on October 27.
“Before that, ANAMA discovered remnants of cluster rockets and bombs in Goranboy, Tartar, and Aghjabadi districts. At the same time, unexploded ammunition containing white phosphorus was detected and neutralized in Fuzuli district,” Ahmadov added.
The ANAMA director pointed out that the Armenian armed forces have fired 13 Scud ballistic missiles at Azerbaijan since September 27.
“Two of those missiles landed in Ganja, one in Mingachevir, one in Gabala, and one in Kurdamir. In addition, one unexploded Tochka-U rocket was discovered in the territory of Fuzuli district,” he said.
It is worth noting that ANAMA has set up 28 special mobile groups operating within 24 hours. The agency keeps taking necessary measures for the safety of the local population.
