ANAMA specialists defuse artillery shells, missiles and anti-tank landmines in frontline areas
The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) received 58 calls from the Interior Ministry's 102 Call Center and 3 calls from the Crisis Management Center of the Emergency Situations Ministry that the districts of Aghjabadi, Aghdam, Barda, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Goranboy and Tartar were hit by the Armenia-fired shells.
Based on the 61 calls received, ANAMA special operational groups and Interior Ministry employees were dispatched to Hajilar, Palidli, Garakhanli and Yukhari Giyamaddinli villages of Aghjabadi district, Chemeli, Ikinji Yuzbashli, Alibeyli, Afatli, Tezekend, Ayag Garvand and Uchoghlan villages of Aghdam district, B. Hajiyev, Baku, Koroghlu, Natavan and U. Hajibeyov streets, Heydar Aliyev Avenue and Mirzalibeyli village in Barda district, Soltanli village of Jabrayil district, Ahmadlilar, Alkhanli and Arayatli villages of Fuzuli district, Buruj, Duyarli, Khocharli and Alasgarli villages of Tartar district. The inspection conducted detected a 122 mm cannon shell (OF-56), a 9N235 grenade, two 122 mm rockets (9M22U), 225 TM-62P2 anti-tank landmines, 224 MVP-62 detonators, and the remnants of 44 exploded shells
ANAMA specialists neutralized 3 missiles and one 9N235 bomb. As many as 36,045 civilians were trained on mine safety.
