ANAMA specialists continue working in frontline zone
On October 27, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) received 20 calls from the Call Center “102” of the Interior Ministry and 2 calls from the Crisis Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations that the Armenia-fired shells hit the districts of Aghajabadi, Aghdam, Barda, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Goranboy and Tartar districts.
Based on the calls received, ANAMA’s special mobile teams and Interior Ministry employees were immediately dispatched to Aghgol village, Takhtakorpu and Hindarkh settlements in Aghjabadi district, Ayag Garvand and Afatli villages in Aghdam district, Alpout, Garayusifli and Boyuk Goyushlu villages in Barda district, Soltanli village in Jabrayil district, the third Zobjug settlement in Fuzuli district, Tapgaragoyunlu village in Goranboy district, Buruj, Duyarli, Alasgarli, Gazyan villages and Narlig settlement in Tartar district. The onsite inspections conducted detected a 100-mm cannon shell (OF-412), a 300-mm missile (9M528), a 57-mm cannon shell (BM-8), 1,560 anti-personnel PMN mines, 67 anti-personnel OZM-72 mines, 33 anti-tank TM-62M mines, 18 anti-tank TM-62P2 mines, 34 MVP detonators, 202 MVCh detonators, 76 detonators and 20 units of unexploded ordnance.
Moreover, ANAMA employees conducted a mine safety awareness campaign for 29,066 civilians.
