Armenian Army Drops Banned Bombs on Azerbaijani Civilian Settlements

Armenian armed forces have been blatantly violating the ceasefire regime and continuing to fire large-calibre weapons and artillery at our army positions and residential areas since 27 September. Targeting the civilian population and infrastructure, the enemy has been dropping shells and prohibited bombs on Azerbaijani citizens, regions and villages.

The enemy has also been firing prohibited missiles at villages and settlements in Goranboy. A bomblet from one of those missiles was discovered in one of the villages in the region.

A bomblet belonging to a cluster-warhead missile was discovered among a large number of shells and missiles fired by the Armenian army in the region. The bomblet was fired from a cluster-warhead version of the 300-millimetre 9M55KA Smerch missile. It targeted the civilian population, as it was discovered in a residential area. These are prohibited bombs. All cluster bombs and bomblet missiles are prohibited by international conventions. These were 9N235 fragmentation bomblets. It contains 96 fragments to destroy light armoured vehicles and equipment and 360 to destroy manpower. The missile weighs 800 kilograms. The bomblets were neutralized through detonation on 9 October.

Azərbaycan Ordusunun sentyabrın 27-də işğalçı Ermənistan silahlı qüvvələrinə qarşı başladığı əks-hücum əməliyyatında əldə etdiyi möhtəşəm qələbələr haqqında bundan sonra kitablar yazılacaq, filmlər çəkiləcək. Amma indidən tam əminliklə deyə bilərik ki, cəbhə uğurlarımızın ən başlıca səbəbi Prezident, Ali Baş Komandan İlham Əliyevin həyata keçirdiyi güclü dövlət, güclü ordu strategiyası, milli birlik və döyüşçülərimizin ruh yüksəkliyi idi.
