10 Smerch Missiles, Fired by Armenian AF, Discovered in Goranboy

The Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) have discovered 10 9M528 Smerch missiles, fired by the Armenian armed forces, during search operations in the Goranboy region on 4-8 October 2020.

According to ANAMA, bomblets of type 9M525 were found inside three of the missiles. These munitions are classified as prohibited under the Convention on Cluster Munitions.

Armenian-fired shell with white phosphorus found in Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli

Special mobile groups of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) conducted operational-search activities in the Fuzuli district.

According to ANAMA, on October 8, a 122-mm D-4 smoke shell stuffed with 3.6 kg of white phosphorus (P-4), fired by the Armenian Armed Forces, was found.

Armenia-fired missile leaves crater in Azerbaijani village

On October 8, Armenian armed forces shelled Azerbaijan’s Barda city and villages of Barda district with heavy artillery and missile systems.

The missile fired by Armenian troops at Gasimbayli village in Barda district left a 10-meter-deep crater. Also, parts of the land were spread over a wide area due to the impact of the rocket.
