The team has discovered 598 bomblets and 14 pieces of detonated shells
The 102 Call Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs referred 24 calls and the Crisis Management Centre of the Ministry of Emergency Situations referred one call to the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan on shelling of territories in Aghdam, Aghjabadi, Barda, Beylagan, Fuzuli, Goranboy and Tartar regions on 6 October 2020.
The special mobile operation groups at the agency and the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted 23 search operations in Hindarkh settlement and Garakhanli village in Aghjabadi, Uchoghlan and Boyukbayli villages and the 4 roads settlement in Aghdam, Chemenli and Khatinchay villages in Barda, Kabirli village in Beylagan, Horadiz city, Zobjug settlement, Alikhanli and Kerimbeyli villages in Fuzuli, Gizilhajili and Balakurd villages in Goranboy, the section of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline running through Yevlakh, Gazyan and Garaghaci villages and Mehdiyev street in Tartar, which revealed one missile, one metrological radio direction finder applied for military purposes, 598 bomblets and 14 remnants of detonated shells.
The detonation team at the agency also defused one suicide drone.
The agency has conducted 282 operations based on 306 signals (operation calls) from 27 September to 6 October. They have reviewed houses, yards, territories around pipelines, territories around the Mingachevir Thermal Power Plant, the territories around the South Caucasus Pipeline, crop fields, pastures, roadsides, forests and schools in Aghdam, Aghdash, Aghjabadi, Barda, Beylagan, Bilasuvar, Jabrayil, Goranboy, Naftalan, Fuzuli, Tartar, Shamkir, Hajigabul, Zardab regions, Ganja and Mingachevir cities. As a result, they have discovered 68 unexploded ordnances (UXO), 598 bomblets, 3 metrological radio detection finders used for military purposes, 2 kamikaze drones (neutralized on site), 2 missile microcircuits and 94 exploded missile parts.
