Madat Mammadov: ANAMA is clearing frontline settlements rapidly
The Armenian army has violated the ceasefire on the frontline through their continuous provocations. The military actions have been continuing since 27 September. Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) has been conducting operations around the clock in all frontline settlements since the launch of the military actions.
They are neutralizing and clearing unexploded ordnances fired by the enemy and informing the population on the best courses of action. They are removing ordnance remnants that are a great source of concern for the locals. ANAMA currently has 24 groups operating in various fields. ANAMA has received over 200 calls and detected and neutralized 64 pieces of unexploded ordnance.
The Mine Awareness Department at ANAMA is also working closely with the locals. They are educating the civilians on unexploded devices, prohibited cluster bombs and cluster-warhead missiles fired by the enemy. They are introducing photos and information of various most-commonly used bombs and unexploded ordnance to raise awareness among them.
