Our Martyrs Commemorated in Bishkek
The ‘Azeri’ Public Union of Azerbaijanis in Kyrgyzstan initiated a ceremony in Bishkek to commemorate our martyrs. The event was attended by our compatriots in the Kyrgyz capital and the fraternal Kyrgyz people.
Azizagha Aliyev, honorary lawyer and chairman of the public union, said our Motherland is going through difficult trials, while our glorious Army is opening a new page in the history of Azerbaijan. Under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, they are liberating our occupied territories. Our tricolour flag is already undulating in the liberated territories. The Armenian terrorists have been shelling our settlements outside the warzone, such as Ganja, Mingachevir and Barda, thus killing and injuring innocent civilians.
He continued that the Azerbaijanis in Kyrgyzstan are following the war tides excitedly. Our compatriots pray to God for those who sacrificed their lives for our sacred lands and our innocent civilians, who fell victims of Armenian terror. May they all rest in peace.
Azizagha Aliyev then congratulated the brotherly people of Türkiye, who always stand by Azerbaijan, on their national holiday. The event participants expressed their confidence that all occupied territories of Azerbaijan will soon be liberated from the enemy foothold and our flag will undulate proudly in Shusha.
Marifat Shirinov, the imam of the Azerbaijani mosque in Bishkek, and Saleh Hasanov, the akhund of the Azerbaijani mosque in Kazakhstan, read prayers for our martyrs. The attendees all joined a funeral repast at the end of the memorial service.
