Georgian Muslims Office Shows Support for the Azerbaijani Army
The congregation at the Tbilisi Juma Mosque prayed for the valiant soldiers, fighting for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, and commemorated our martyrs.
Sheikh of the Georgian Muslims Ramin Igidov, Head of Clergy Board Haji Kamran Mammadov, Chairman of the Council of Azerbaijani Elders of Georgia Haji Isak Novruzov, and others spoke at the event, expressing their support for the position of the Azerbaijani state, currently conducting counter-offensive operations for the liberation of its lands.
They spoke of the 30 years’ ignoration of the UN resolutions and declarations by many reputable international organizations. A nation with 20 percent of its lands occupied and a million refugees could certainly not come to terms with such injustice. Regardless of religion, national, and racial affiliation, everyone must support a state and nation that acts against oppression, terrorism, and violence, as it liberates its territories from occupation.
