Khachmaz sends off volunteers to the front with applause
Volunteers from Khachmaz left for the battles on the frontline on 1 October. The families and loved ones all gathered in front of the local State Service for Mobilization and Conscription office to send off these brave sons.
Aghakishi Badirov came to see off his nephew and said he felt extremely proud. ‘I am proud as an uncle. Our country needs us. Who will recover our lands but us? I wish our youth success. Let them return with victory. I am positive that we shall win.’ he shared his emotions.
Imran Babayev, who came to bid farewell to his son, said that our nation had grown very impatient. ‘We have been patient for thirty years. That is enough. Our children are determined to fight and recover our lands. May God let us crush the enemy’, he said.
Volunteer conscript Abulfaz Fatullayev shared his emotions before leaving for the battlefront: ‘I am proud to join the battles. I am ready to sacrifice my life for my Motherland. I have been conscribed voluntarily. I hope to return with victory!’
Jamila Mahammadova, who arrived to see her grandson off, wished good health and victory to all our soldiers: ‘May God protect our soldiers as they guard the Motherland. Let them return with news of victory. We have been glued to the TV for so many days. I am looking forward to every piece of news’, the grandmother shared her thoughts.
The volunteers promised to liberate our occupied lands from the enemy under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.
The Khachmaz conscripts were sent off to the front with enthusiasm, applause and to the sounds of ‘Soldier March’.
