140 Ministry of Agriculture Staff Join Army Voluntarily
From the early hours of 27 September, the Armenian Armed Forces have been regularly firing at the positions and residential areas of the Republic of Azerbaijan from weaponry of various calibres and mortars, thus conducting yet another military provocation and continuing their aggression policy against Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani Army launched a large-scale counter-attack operation in response. The Azerbaijani soldiers are retaliating worthily, making the enemy suffer devastating blows on the Azerbaijani lands. Our army is demonstrating true courage on the battlefield, while the entire nation works tirelessly in the rear.
Our people welcomed with great enthusiasm the order by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev introducing partial mobilization across the country on 28 September 2020.
The Ministry of Agriculture Communications and Public Relations Department informed that hundreds of employees of the ministry have addressed the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription as per the Order. 140 of those have been summoned by the State Service and have voluntarily joined the battles for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The ministry employees have expressed how honoured they are to join the army ranks, who have been worthily retaliating on the battlefield, and their confidence that Azerbaijan will soon resume its territorial integrity.
The military operations are happening at the peak of agriculture season. Ministry employees have been posted to frontal districts and villages to ensure planting, harvesting, and other agricultural-technical maintenance. The ministry staff is regularly monitoring the areas close to the contact line and providing necessary expertise and advice to farmers to organize the day-to-day work in the agricultural sector. The autumn plowing and agricultural-technical maintenance in the villages close to the contact line is kept under control.
All employees of the Ministry of Agriculture are ready to join the battles and support the successful policy pursued by President Ilham Aliyev.
