Volunteer conscripts from Balakan eager to leave for the front
On 1 October, Balakan saw off their youth, who volunteered to participate in the battles for the recovery of our lands from Armenian usurpers.
The parents and the community representatives, who gathered in front of the Balakan office of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription, said how proud they were of the bravery and successful military operations by our army under the leadership of the President of Azerbaijan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev.
Maharrav Sodiyev came to send his son off to the front: ‘As a citizen, I too, despite my age, am ready to take up arms to liberate our dear Karabakh from the bloodthirsty Armenians and to avenge our martyrs. I wish that our sons, who have volunteered to go to the frontline today, return home safely!’
Volunteer conscript Elvin Mahmuyev said: ‘It is our sacred duty to participate in the battles for the freedom and territorial integrity of our country. This Motherland is ours and we must protect it! I have volunteered to join the battles. I believe that our tricolour flag will soon wave in Khankendi, Shusha and all over Karabakh. That day is near.’
The families and loved ones of the volunteer conscripts from Balakan then sent their brave youths to the frontline to the sounds of applause.
