President of International Turkic Academy deeply concerns over escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh
President of the International Turkic Academy Darkhan Kydyrali expressed deep concern over the escalation of the situation by Armenia in the occupied regions of Azerbaijan.
The Turkish Academy reaffirms its commitment to the norms and principles of international law and calls for the settlement of the conflict within the framework of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of the internationally recognized borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the basis of relevant UN Security Council resolutions adopted in 1993.
The President of the Academy stressed the inadmissibility of any provocative statements and actions that could undermine the peaceful settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, as well as the process of negotiations with the support of the OSCE Minsk Group.
