The invisible front: Volunteers in Baku collect tires for the frontline
The entire country has come together to aid the soldiers, who are fighting with all their might on the frontline.
Every Azerbaijani is praying for our soldiers. A group of young volunteers outside Baku have started collecting tires to fortify the frontline. They sent over a thousand tires to the front during the past 24 hours.
At around 6 AM on 27 September, the Armenian armed forces launched a large-scale provocation, firing intensively at the positions of the Azerbaijani army and our residential areas along the frontline from large-caliber weapons, mortars, and artillery of various calibers. Large-scale military operations have been launched as a result.
Civilians have been killed as the enemy intensively fired at the villages of Gapanli in Tartar, Chiragli and Orta Garvand in Aghdam, Alkhanli and Shukurbeyli in Fuzuli and Jojug Marjanli in Jabrayil. They have gravely damaged civil infrastructure.
The frontline units of the Azerbaijani Army are taking countermeasures to prevent the provocation by the enemy and ensure the safety of the civilian population residing in the zones, close to the frontline.
