A child, smeared in blood in the Ganja terror, smiles no matter what
The Armenian army shelled blocks of flats downtown Ganja, the second largest city in Azerbaijan, located well outside the frontline around 2 o’clock at night, killing 9 people, 4 of them women. Several children were pulled out from under the debris, and some have received serious injuries.
Young Omar Nasirov, who was among those pulled out, was captured on film, which later aroused great public reaction in social media. Although Omar was smeared in blood, his answer to the fascist Armenian vandals was a smile, as if conveying all his mixed feelings in the moment. The photo, which became a phenomenon on social media, became a message of hatred for child killers and of peace to the world.
