Yerevan spreads fakes in an attempt to hide losses
Armenia has been working hard, starting its disinformation machine to conceal losses and failures. Meanwhile, Azerbaijan continues to expose Yerevan’s failed attempts at fake news, which mainly target the Armenian domestic audience. The Ministry of Defence of Azerbaijan reported on the issue on the second day of the war:
‘The information the Armenian Defence Ministry officials spread on the number of casualties in the Azerbaijani Army is groundless and does not reflect the reality. It is aimed at quenching the panic among the Armenian population and the chaos within the army ranks after the continuous advancements of the Azerbaijani Army.
At the end of the operation day, intelligence shows that the Armenian army has suffered substantial losses. Our valiant army has destroyed 22 tanks and other armoured vehicles, 15 OSA surface-to-air missile systems, 18 UAVs, 8 artillery units. The Armenian ranks have suffered a loss of 550 staff, including the dead and wounded. 3 ammunition depots have been destroyed in various directions.
Lieutenant Colonel Lernik Vardanyan, the commander of the enemy landing-assault battalion, has been destroyed, and the unit under his command has suffered colossal losses in the battles toward Talish village.
Military and civilian hospitals are suffering a shortage of beds due to the multitude of wounded within the enemy army ranks. There is not enough blood in the reserve banks, as well.
