Conscripts leave for compulsory active military service
According to the Decree signed by President Ilham Aliyev on August 26, it has been strated to send the citizens born in 2002 and having reached the age of 18 by the day of conscription (including that day), as well as those born in 1985-2001 and being under the age of 35 and who have not completed compulsory active military service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and the citizens of Azerbaijan who do not have the right of deferment from conscription for compuslory active military service or have not been released from conscription for compulsory active military serviceto their service places on the basis of a defined schedule.
Sending the conscripts to compulsory active military service by the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription (SSMC) will be continued until October 30.
Young soldiers are not sent to the front, but to the military units of the relevant types of troops - training centers, and in the next 3 months they will be trained there, learn the secrets of the military and then continue their service in their assigned places.
The October conscripts proudly leave for compulsory active military service because they will fulfill an honorable mission as an Azerbaijani soldier.
