Azerbaijan discloses preliminary results of investigation into Armenian crimes against civilians
A briefing was held on the preliminary results of the investigation into the crimes committed by Armenia against the civilian population in Azerbaijan’s Ganja, Barda, and other cities.
Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Kamran Aliyev said that 39 criminal cases have already been initiated over the strikes inflicted by Armenian armed forces on the civilian population and strategic facilities.
The prosecutor general noted that criminal proceedings have also been launched over Armenia’s involvement of mercenaries in the fighting, the environmental terror committed by Armenia, and the destruction of properties belonging to Azerbaijani citizens.
“Three more criminal cases have been initiated by the State Security Service over the involvement by Armenia of foreign mercenaries in the fighting against Azerbaijan,” he added.
