Group of Azerbaijani clerics living in Georgia sends letter to President Ilham Aliyev
A group of Azerbaijani clerics living in Georgia addressed a letter to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
The letter reads:
“His Excellency Mr. Ilham Aliyev, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan
Your Excellency,
We, a group of Azerbaijani clerics living in Georgia, are following with great attention and excitement the Patriotic War that started on September 27 for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and the withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied Azerbaijani territories. We also witnessed after the reckless attack on Tovuz district in July that it is impossible to speak in another language with the enemy, who has been violating the ceasefire and ignoring the peace talks for many years.
Today, the hears of our compatriots living in Georgia are beating together with Azerbaijan and the Azerbaijani soldiers. Although we are citizens of another country, we are ready for your every call for our nationality and national state. We believe that the 30-year longing will end. Our compatriots in Georgia are in solidarity with you, they are always ready to support our Motherland and be in the trenches with you. Hopefully, the people of Azerbaijan will win in Karabakh soon, and peace and justice will be established.
Honorable Mr. President, the expression "Azerbaijan is a strong state and Azerbaijan has a strong army" which you always say with restraint has become a source of pride for every Azerbaijani today. At this time of the Patriotic War, we were once again convinced that such a strong army was formed thanks to the army-building policy carried out precisely by a determined Commander-in-Chief like you.
We believe that your decisive policy will be successful, and soon our lands will be liberated. Ensuring the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan is our pride and sacred duty.
Our prayers are with you, with our victorious Army. We ask Allah's mercy upon each of our martyrs who died for the sake of the Azerbaijani flag that will fly in Karabakh! May Allah heal our wounded soon.
Long Live the glorious Azerbaijani Army! May Allah bless all of you!”
Sincerely,
Haji Ali Aliyev, the representative of the Caucasian Muslims Office in Georgia
