One of the prestigious Spanish publications ‘La Vanguardia’ newspaper has published an article titled ’12 killed as a result of the missile strike on Azerbaijan’s second-largest city’.
Citing to the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan the Spanish newspaper reported that12 civilians were killed and more than 40 were injured as a result of the Armenian ballistic attack in Ganja.
The use of ‘Elbrus’ operational-ballistic rockets known as SCUD by Armenia was also stressed in the material.
The material also includes the statement made by the Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration Hikmet Hajiyev: “According to ANAMA, SCUD/Elbrus Operative-Tactical Ballistic Missile were used in Ganja attack. This is evidenced by the shells found at the scene. Aiming SCUD missiles at densely populated areas of civilians testify to the complete immorality and schizophrenic thinking of the Armenian military-political leadership.”
The publication also stressed that the Azerbaijan Air Defense Forces neutralized several rockets aimed at Mingachevir.
