Uzbek news portal interpress.uz widely covered the key remarks voiced by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in his interview to CNN Turk TV channel.
The portal systematized the theses from the interview as follows:
- The Azerbaijani Army restores its territorial integrity;
- Violence against the civilian population once again reveals the fascist nature of Armenia;
- The statement made by French President Emmanuel Macron contradicts the OSCE Minsk Group’s mandate;
- Today, Armenia is recruiting terrorists from different parts of the world;
- Today, no single Azerbaijani lives in Nagorno-Karabakh, they were expelled;
- The shelling of the Mingachevir power plant is a crime;
- Smear campaign has been carried out against Azerbaijan for many years.
Fikr.uz portal reported that Armenia’s military and political leadership, in a gross violation of international legal norms and principles, continues to commit terrorist attacks against the civilian population of Azerbaijan. Armenia keeps shelling the Azerbaijani city of Ganja and the districts of Barda, Aghjabadi, Goranboy, Tartar, and Aghdam.
The portal also provided information about the history of Nagorno-Karabakh.
