Political analyst: Armenian people in despair, as Pashinyan's policy fails (Azertag)
‘The Armenian authorities continue serving a fascist ideology, which manifests in racial discrimination, hatred of other peoples and nations and eyeing other people’s territories. Armenia has achieved nothing in the region so far but aggression and occupation. Meanwhile, Armenia gets more irritated and jealous of the development Azerbaijan has had. Our infamous neighbour is trying to compensate for this jealousy with a policy of invasion and aggression. They are especially disturbed by Azerbaijan’s achievements in the field of energy’, political analyst Elkhan Alasgarov shared with us.
Alasgarov emphasized that military doctrine clearly reads that firing at civilian population and objects is against international law and norms. Armenia resorts to these provocations to terrorize the local population and get our country to stop combat operations. Targeting Ganja is yet another provocation.
The political analyst noted that Armenia uses all types of weapons in military operations with Azerbaijan. He added that the enemy also employs the outdated Scud and Tochka-U missiles: ‘This is now a known fact that the Armenian armed forces use cluster warheads. This violates the principles of the Hague International Court of Justice. Armenia thus defies the norms of international law.’
He also said that Armenia’s claims that Azerbaijan employs mercenaries are groundless: ‘They have hired mercenaries from the Middle East themselves. Armenian President Armen Sarkissian admitted to the fact of employing mercenaries in the army in his interview to Al-Jazeera.
The Armenian people are in despair. Pashinyan’s policy has failed. There is now a gaping hole between the Karabakh clan and Pashinyan. The Karabakh clan has started action to overthrow the Prime Minister. Russia does not support this government.
Our army has been expelling the Armenian army from Karabakh as a result of the successful policy pursued by the President of Azerbaijan. The Armenian people got to see how empty the myth has been. We will return what is righteously ours by uniting tightly around the President of Azerbaijan.’
