Lord David Evans: Attacks on Civilians show how aggressive Armenia is (Azertag)
‘I would like to convey my good wishes to the friendly people of Azerbaijan and President Ilham Aliyev. He is the perfect man for the people of Azerbaijan’, said David Evans of the House of Lords at the British Parliament.
‘I am deeply sorrowed for those, who lost their lives in war, and I offer my condolences to their families. It is very sad that people are losing their lives and suffering injuries. These attacks on civilians are an indication of how aggressive Armenia is. I would like the war to end, for results to soon be achieved and the lands recognized as Azerbaijani internationally be returned to their rightful owner,’ Lord Evans shared his views.
He also talked of the Azerbaijan trip of the Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs and conveyed his confidence that this trip would produce good results for both sides.
