Azerbaijani Ambassador to France Rahman Mustafayev met with a group of French journalists.
During the meeting, the diplomat informed the participants about the recent Armenian military provocations. It was noted that Turkiye morally and politically supported Azerbaijan. Turkiye expresses its support to Azerbaijan within international law.
Speaking about Azerbaijan-France relations, Rahman Mustafayev said that despite the high level of political and economic relations between our countries, he regrets France's baseless claims about the presence of mercenaries in Nagorno-Karabakh and that there is no basis for this. The diplomat noted that Azerbaijan has a strong army and does not need external forces.
The diplomat stated that Azerbaijan was liberating its lands. Although we always preferred a peaceful settlement of the conflict, the other side often committed provocations against Azerbaijan.
