A press conference was held in the administrative building of the embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan with the participation of journalists of "Petra" State Information Agency, as well as "al-Rai" and "al-Gad" state newspapers and other news resources, "al-Mamlaka" and "al-Haqiqa al-Douliyya", representatives of television channels, including the editor-in-chief of www.orobanews.com news portal Sultan al-Khattab and writer-publicist Omar al-Armuti. At the event, the memory of our martyrs was commemorated with a minute of silence.
The press service of the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan reported about the event. It was reported that Ambassador Rasim Rzayev once again brought to the attention of the guests the purpose of the press conference and touched on the Armenian provocations that led to the counter-offensive operations carried out by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.
Furthermore, the ambassador informed the participants about the history and results of the conflict, as well as the demands of the four resolutions of the UN Security Council. He also stated the fact that the co-chair countries of the OSCE Minsk Group Russia, the US, and France repeatedly rejected the status-quo, which Armenia tried to preserve in our occupied territories.
Noting Armenia’s economic, moral, and human losses, the diplomat mentioned the single condition of Azerbaijan, which demanded the complete, unconditional, and immediate withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from Azerbaijan.
Emphasizing the military provocation carried out by the Armenian armed forces on September 27, including the shelling of our residential areas and military positions, the counselor of the embassy Shahhuseynov said that Armenia has tried our patience. He also reminded us that our republic started military operations within the internationally recognized borders, and said that our Armed Forces neutralized military equipment, positions, and objects only in our occupied territories, and during the military operations, some of our territories and strategic positions were liberated.
At the end of the presentation, Shahhuseynov highlighted that the occupying Armenia was trying to provoke our country by bombing our cities and involving the military and political organizations of which it is a member in a military adventure against Azerbaijan.
As a result of this propaganda, the information about the alleged participation of Turkiye in military operations on the side of Azerbaijan and the fact that mercenaries from Syria are fighting on the side of our armed forces are baseless. He also urged the participants of the press conference not to miss the opportunity but to always find out the accuracy of any information that interests them from our embassy.
