“I was inside the bus blown up by Armenians,” said Fatma Mahmudova, a famous Azerbaijani actress as she praised the successful battles of the Azerbaijani Army.
The People’s Artist, who was born in Aghdam, said she still remembers the horrors of the First Karabakh War.
“I always wait for news of victory, and I believe that everything is going to be nice under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. We are ready for whatever our state and leader orders. We need to be patient, it is impossible to solve everything at once. As our villages and regions are liberated, I am moved to years. May Allah bless our soldiers, and protect our army,” she said.
Mahmudova noted that she experienced the horrors and suffering of the 90s. “I and my child were inside the Aghdam-Tbilisi passenger bus blown up by Armenians at the entrance to Ganja city in 1991. Only 5-6 people managed to survive. I was seriously injured, and I lost my memory for almost a year. Now a monument has been erected in memory of those who died in that place. The goal of the Armenians was to blow up the Ganja bus station,” the actress added.
The actress said that she welcomed some of the IDPs from Khojaly, Gushchular and Malibeyli villages into her house and took care of them. “I will not forget those horrific days. That is why I am heartily happy for the successes of our Army. The people are happy. I have been living with great hope for years. I wish that the Agdam State Drama Theater would operate again in the city of Agdam. It is our land. We are supporters of justice.”
Mahmudova added that she is eagerly waiting for the news of the liberation of Shusha city from the Armenian occupation.
