“Hearts of all Jews beat with Azerbaijanis” (AzVision)
“Azerbaijan’s ongoing military operations to liberate its historical lands from the Armenian occupation are consistent with all international conventions and laws. This just cause of Azerbaijan is supported not only by Jews in the country but also Jews around the world,” said Nasimi Abilov, co-founder of the Jewish Religious Community in Sumgayit and director of the Azerbaijan Jewish Media Center.
He noted that Jews always highly appreciate the tolerance of Azerbaijanis and the preservation of multicultural values at the highest level.
“The Jewish people and the Azerbaijani people have always stood by each other. History has proven many times that Azerbaijanis were extremely tolerant towards the Jews living here, as well as other nationalities in general, and ensured coexistence at the highest level. It is a fact that the Jewish people have never betrayed the Azerbaijanis. They always lived in their hearts the value and respect they saw. Many Jews who left Azerbaijan live in Israel, and not only them, Jews from all over the world support the Azerbaijani diaspora and any activity in our favor abroad,” Abilov said.
Abilov also pointed out that Israel is leading among the countries that have provided certain support and assistance to Azerbaijan in its just cause.
“Azerbaijan can confidently lean its back on the back of Israel and the Jewish people. No state will support countries like Armenia that pursue nationalistic policies with an eye on other people's lands. At present, the hears of not only Jews living in Azerbaijan but also around the world are beating with Azerbaijanis. We are eagerly waiting for the news coming from the front, and from now on, any news of victory will make both nations happy,” he added.
