The Egyptian media portals such as "Egyptonline", "Alwaseela", "Gomhoriaonline", "Rayetmisr" published news about the rocket strike on civilian objects, including residential buildings, in Ganja, the second largest city of Azerbaijan, and about the deaths and injuries of civilians.
Referring to the news and photos from Ganja, it was reported that the Armenian armed forces targeted civilian objects and civilians in the second-largest city of Azerbaijan using weapons prohibited by the Geneva Convention.
It was highlighted that Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration called this step of Armenia a war crime and declared that being helpless in front of the Azerbaijani army, Armenia treacherously opened fire on the civilian population.
