Influential Egyptian newspaper "Shurug” published material about Azerbaijan's position regarding Armenia's neglect of peace talks, constant military provocations and trying to keep the status quo.
The publication also includes statements made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan: “Armenia has taken steps to attract members of the Armenian diaspora living in foreign countries to its military units illegally stationed in the temporarily occupied territories of Azerbaijan. Armenia intends to compensate for the serious losses suffered by Armenia's armed forces. Armenia and the Armenian diaspora organizations bear international legal responsibility for carrying out terrorist activities against the civilian population.”
The readers were also informed that Azerbaijani MFA reminds that those who"commit, plan, prepare for, or participate in terrorist acts by leaving their countries of residence or citizenship, or situations related to armed conflicts" must be defined as foreign terrorist fighters according to the resolution of the UN Security Council No. 2178 (2014).
