We are proud that Turkey always supports Azerbaijan in all matters - MP (Trend)
“As President Ilham Aliyev stated, there are no other countries in the world today as close to each other as Turkey and Azerbaijan,” said Azerbaijani MP Aydin Mirzazade.
“We are making the phrase “one nation, two states” a reality. We are proud that Turkey constantly supports Azerbaijan in all matters, this is a manifestation of friendship at the highest level. Azerbaijan has the same attitude towards the fraternal state,” Mirzazade said.
He noted that the steps taken by Azerbaijan since September 27 to liberate its lands occupied by Armenia have attracted the attention of the entire world community.
“In this regard, the progressive forces of the world today are on the side of Azerbaijan. Turkey has always supported Azerbaijan’s position on Nagorno-Karabakh. We will never forget this. Today, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan are restoring the territorial integrity of our country,” the lawmaker said.
“Although Azerbaijan is a small country, it shows the whole world an example of how to solve its problems. Undoubtedly, Turkey's moral and political support in this matter is extremely important for Azerbaijan. We express our gratitude to the people and leadership of Turkey for this support,” Mirzazade added.
