Uzbek media portals ‘human.uz’ and ‘islamonline.uz’ have published articles on Armenian aggression against Azerbaijan and counter-offensive attacks of the Azerbaijani Army.
The articles also include statements made by Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay in his interview to ‘Kriter’ journal.
Armenia has been referred to as an aggressor, an obstacle to peace and stability in the region in the interview. It was stated that the international community supports Azerbaijan. The whole world witnessed the just side in the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Armenia's provocations against Azerbaijan on the contact line have not stopped for many years. In July, the Armenians committed another provocation in the Tovuz direction of the border. On September 27, they resorted to another provocation on the contact line, which resulted in a counter- attack by the Azerbaijani armed forces.
The Vice President said: “Today Turkiye supports Azerbaijan, which is exposed to the occupation of its lands. International law and justice take with Azerbaijan. The world community has been calling Armenia to end its occupation of Nagorno-Karabakh and its seven surrounding regions for 28 years. Armenia's regular provocations and violation of the ceasefire forced Azerbaijan to take advantage of its right to clean its lands from the enemies based on the norms and principles of international law.
Fuat Oktay also noted that the OSCE Minsk Group, which was involved in the settlement of the conflict, showed its weakness. All operations are being conducted in the territories of Azerbaijan occupied by Armenia.
"Islamonline.uz" portal published an infographic entitled "6 main issues on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict". The infographic presents the map of Nagorno-Karabakh. Besides, information was provided about the beginning and history of the conflict, Turkey's position in the settlement of the problem, and the adoption of 4 resolutions of the UN Security Council demanding unconditional withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from the territory of Azerbaijan.
