Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Araz Azimov talked about Armenia’s occupation policy, the killing of Azerbaijani civilians, as well as counter-interactive operations of the Azerbaijani armed forces during the live program on ‘Ukraine-24’ TV channel.
Firstly, Azimov thanked Ukraine for supporting Azerbaijan’s just position. He also added that Armenia had violated the negotiation process and no result has been achieved over 30 years.
The deputy minister also stated that the four resolutions of the UN Security Council recognize Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity, demanding Armenia’s withdrawal from the occupied territories. Despite the efforts made by the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group, Armenia showed its non-constructive position. Apart from that, Armenia armed itself in the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, carried out an artificial settlement, and placed terrorists and mercenaries during this period.
Over the years, Armenia has committed both political and military provocations against Azerbaijan. The last military provocation was committed in the Tovuz direction on the border with Azerbaijan. All this showed that Armenia is not interested in the peaceful settlement of the problem.
Besides, Azimov rejected the participation of Turkish servicemen on the Azerbaijani side, stating that servicemen from the terrorist organizations of the Near East participated in fighting from the
