The increase in the number of deserters and the weakness of the Armenian army were caused by the fact that the country’s prime minister Pashinyan began to act at the instigation of external forces, said Uzeyir Jafarov, a reservist and military expert.
He noted that the Armenians were well aware that they would not be able to stand up to the Azerbaijani army.
“They understand this very well, that’s why today Armenian army servicemen shoot at each other. But that’s not all. Soon not only this will happen in the Armenian army, but the main problem of losing Armenian troops is still ahead. It will take years to restore this army, it will be very difficult for Armenia to do this. Now the Armenian army is suffering a serious defeat, it cannot cope with the strength and skill of the Azerbaijani military personnel. Pashinyan thought that he had a strong army, but the Azerbaijani Army demonstrated its strength.
