Faraj.tj, a Tajik news portal, highlighted Armenia’s missile attack on the ancient Azerbaijani city of Ganja.
Immediately after a humanitarian ceasefire agreed upon in Moscow, Armenia fired a missile at the populated areas of Ganja, the second largest city of Azerbaijan, killing 10 civilians and injuring 34 others, including women and children.
The portal noted that Armenia’s missile attack on the civilian population of Azerbaijan contradicts the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and other international documents and that Armenia must be held accountable for its actions.
It was informed that the ancient city of Ganja is a cultural center on the Great Silk Road and gifted the world Nizami Ganjavi, a prominent poet and philosopher.
The portal also provided information about the historical monuments of Ganja.
The Tajik portal pointed out that the missile attack on Ganja, well-known for its ancient and historical monuments, is nothing but an act of vandalism.
