Director of the Azerbaijan-Montenegro Cultural and Economic Center Seyran Mirzazade joined as a guest on the program “There and Back” aired on the Montenegrin TV channel A1. During the program, Mirzazade provided detailed information about the counteroffensive operation launched on September 27 by the Azerbaijani Army to suppress the next military aggression of Armenia.
He noted that the main purpose of the Azerbaijani Army’s counteroffensive operation is to liberate the country’s occupied territories and force Armenia into peace.
Mirzazade said that the destructive and aggressive policy of the military-political leadership of Armenia has put this country in a desperate situation. He pointed out that all countries recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, therefore, Armenia, which has no legal argument to justify its occupation policy, keeps conducting a smear campaign against Azerbaijan.
Armenia is a terrorist state, said Mirzazade, adding: “Back in the 80s of the last century, Armenian terrorist organizations committed terrorist acts against Turkish diplomats in several European cities, including Belgrade. It is absurd for such a country to accuse Azerbaijan of attracting terrorists from other countries to the war zone.”
According to him, as a result of Armenia’s refusal to withdraw its troops from the occupied Azerbaijani territories, the conflict will not only be resolved by military means, but at the same time, Armenia will face a terrible humanitarian disaster and socio-economic crisis.
Mirzazade also stated that Azerbaijan’s position is based on international law, calling on the international community to avoid double standards.
