Azizov family from Jabrayil’s Nuzgar village: Now we’re witnessing the days we’ve been waiting for 27 years (AZERTAC)
Residents of the Jabrayil district’s Nuzgar village, which has recently been liberated from the Armenian occupation, are looking forward to returning to their native lands. That day is very near. The village of Nüzgar is among the settlements liberated from the Armenian occupation by our glorious army.
The 27-year-long dreams of Nuzgar residents have already become a reality. The Azizov family from Nuzgar village has been longing for their Motherland for many years. They remember beautiful moments in their native villages by looking at pictures. However, the liberation of Nüzgar village from occupation put an end to the people’s longing.
Nuzgar resident Fazil Azizov said that the village located on the left side of Leletepe has very fertile lands: “Our village has about 500 hectares of arable land and pastures. In addition to springs, there are also 7 kahriz water supply systems in our village. We have been waiting for the return to those places for 27 years. Now our dreams come true. My biggest desire is to drink the water of the kahriz of our village. We always believed that we would return to those beautiful places. At present, our strong army continues its victory march. We are sure that all our lands will be freed from occupation,” he said.
Gizgayit Azizova, a teacher from Nuzgar village, she overjoyed after hearing the news of the liberation of her native village from the Armenian occupation.
“During these years, I have informed my students about our occupied lands. We have always believed that sooner or later justice will triumph, our lands will be liberated, and the blood of our martyrs will be avenged. Now we are experiencing the days we have been waiting for for 27 years. Hopefully, all our occupied lands will be liberated and each of our citizens will return to their native lands,” she added.
The village of Nuzgar was liberated from the Armenian occupation on September 27, which marked the beginning of the counteroffensive operation of the Azerbaijani Army.
