Villages in Azerbaijan’s Aghjabadi come under Armenian fire (AZERTAC)
Armenian armed forces, using heavy artillery, continue shelling frontal settlements in Azerbaijan’s Aghjabadi district. As a result, houses, auxiliary buildings, and farms were severely damaged.
Garakhanli is one of the district’s villages subjected to artillery fire by enemy troops. As a result, from September 27 until now, 6 houses were destroyed, and about 50 houses and auxiliary buildings were damaged in the village.
Villager Heydar Pashayev said that the enemy is constantly firing at the village. “In the evening, one of the shells hit our neighbor’s house. This house was also destroyed by Armenian shelling in 2016, and then it was repaired by our government. The enemy fires at the village almost every day. However, this does not scare us, we do not leave our village. We are busy with our daily work. We trust our army and our President. We are sure that victory will be ours soon,” he added.
Another villager Rustam Guliyev said: “Let the enemy know that it will be defeated soon. All our lands will be liberated from occupation. Our army is conducting successful operations at the front, liberating settlements from the enemy. This inspires us, the residents of the frontline villages. We will achieve victory. Karabakh is ours! Karabakh is Azerbaijan!”
