Azerbaijani family who fell victim to Armenian terror (AZERTAC)
Armenians committed acts of genocide against our people from time to time at every opportunity. The acts of genocide committed from the early 20th century until the First Karabakh War went down in the blood memory of the Azerbaijani people. The survivors of the Khojaly genocide committed in February 1992 still feel the pain of those horrific days. The Armenians, who tortured innocent people and prevented them from leaving their homes, even left the dead bodies of civilians unrecognizable. Armenia still sticks to its policy of genocide. Having suffered a heavy defeat on the battlefield, the Armenian armed forces continued to target the civilian population. What was committed against civilians in Ganja, Barda and other cities is a continuation of the policy of genocide pursued towards Azerbaijanis for many years.
According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Azerbaijan, the terrorist acts committed by Armenia over the past month claimed the lives of the members of 7 Azerbaijani families. The Alasgarov family was among those who fell victim to Armenian terrorism. The daughter of a family of four got married years ago. Three people were in the house that horrific night. The head of the family, Jeyhun Alasgarov, his wife Tarana and their children Ulvi. All three lost their lives as a result of a rocket fired by the enemy.
Teyyub Khidirov, a relative of the family, said that on the night of the explosion, the members of the Alasgarov family were pulled dead from the rubble. “I visited Jeyhun’s house two days ago. He was closely following the news from the front. Jeyhun was from Karabakh. He used to say that he would go to Karabakh together with his children after the liberation of those lands. The missile fired that night made his dreams unrealized. As a result, a family was erased from the earth,” Khidirov added
Eslanda Khidirova, the sister of Tarana Khanum, still finds it difficult to accept what happened that night.
“I’m Tarana’s older sister. But I always relied on her as an older sister. My sister’s dreams remain unrealized. I cannot believe it, I think they are alive,” she said.
The daughter of the Alasgarov family could not speak because she was deeply shocked by the death of his parents and brother.
Thus, the Armenian terror claimed the lives of all members of another family on October 11. This is the continuation of the genocide committed against Azerbaijanis.
