“Liberation of my native village was the greatest gift to me on my birthday” - Boyuk Marjanli resident (AZERTAC)
The village of Boyuk Marjanli is one of the villages liberated from the Armenian occupation thanks to the successful counteroffensive operation conducted by the glorious Azerbaijani Army. This historical day - September 27 - will always remembered by the residents of Boyuk Marjanli.
The 27-year longing of Boyuk Marjanli residents has already ended. Now the villagers are waiting for the day when they will return to their native lands.
Zaur Valiyev, a teacher from Boyuk Marjanli, said that these feelings of joy show the day of the Great Victory is not far away. “This victory makes us pride, and it is a blow to Armenians. Armenian fascists, powerless in front of our army, continue firing on our civilians. The missiles fired at our cities, which are kilometers away from the front, once again prove that Armenians are terrorists. Our strong army is responding to the fascists on the battlefield and liberating our occupied lands every day,” he said.
Valiyev noted that the liberation of Boyuk Marjanli village from the Armenian occupation was particularly memorable for him. “The date of liberation of our village coincided with my birthday, and it was the greatest gift to me. We strongly believe that all our lands will be liberated from occupation and our flag will fly in Karabakh,” he added.
Mahmud Musayev, an honored teacher from Boyuk Marjanli, said that his native village was one of the first villages liberated by the Azerbaijani Army from the enemy provocation.
“Every day the news of victory from the front makes us happy. Our native village - Boyuk Marjanli - had been under enemy occupation for 27 years. However, our hope and faith for its liberation never died. Finally, today our joy knows no bounds. Until today, we have made videos about Jabrayil's history, monuments, and national heroes and promoted them on social networks. We have informed our students about this so that our native lands are not forgotten,” he said.
