Glorious Azerbaijan soldiers stand bravely in defense of Nakhchivan (AZERTAC)
The Azerbaijani Army, which launched a counteroffensive operation along the entire front on September 27 to suppress Armenia’s military provocations, is demonstrating its strength on the battlefield to give the Azerbaijani people the joy of victory. While the counteroffensive is going on successfully, units of the Combined Arms Army tasked with providing air and land defense of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic are also on alert combat duty.
According to the press service of the Combined Arms Army, the airspace of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is reliably protected by air defense units and formations of the Combined Arms Army. Air defense units on 24-hour combat duty are capable of detecting, escorting, and destroying any enemy air attack vehicle. Along with all this, serving in air defense units requires promptness and vigilance from military personnel.
Officer Humbat Mammadli said that the air defense units of the Combined Arms Army are on 24-hour uninterrupted combat duty to protect the state air borders of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. “The air defense unit in which I serve is capable of detecting and destroying enemy air targets at specified distances and altitudes. The combat determination and professionalism of the personnel is at a high level,” he added.
Officer Allahveran Abbasov, who serves in one of our air defense units, which is ready to repel a sudden enemy air attack on the front line, said “In the combat duty for the reliable protection of our air borders, the main focus is on the timely detection and destruction of air attack vehicles flying at low and lowest altitudes.
The ongoing counteroffensive operation by the Azerbaijani makes each of us proud and increases the confidence of our soldiers in victory. In particular, it is possible to see our military personnel’s determination to achieve victory when talking to those serving in Combined Arms Army units located in difficult mountainous conditions.
Bahruz Ahmadov, a soldier from Lachin, proudly said: “The successful counteroffensive operation of our army rejoices me, all Lachin residents, my fellow soldiers, in general, and all the Azerbaijani people. If enemy troops resort to a provocation in the Nakhchivan direction, they will face fearless, brave, and prepared soldiers like us. We are proud to be Azerbaijani soldiers! Karabakh is Azerbaijan!”
Today, operational conditions are fully controlled by the units of the Combined Arms Army capable of resolutely suppressing all enemy provocations in the direction of the border of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
