Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Germany Ramin Hasanov gave an extensive interview on TV Berlin channel regarding Armenia’s recent military provocations against Azerbaijan.
The diplomat informed the local audience about the historical and legal aspects of the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Azerbaijan’s stance on the conflict settlement, Armenia’s recent military provocations, the positions of other countries, including Russia, Turkey, and Germany, on the conflict, as well as about the ineffectiveness of the ONCE-mediated negotiations.
Ambassador Hasanov said the conflict erupted after Armenia made territorial claims to Azerbaijan, emphasizing that the problem can only be solved within Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity. He stated that Azerbaijan will never allow the creation of a second Armenian state on its territory.
The diplomat also spoke about the provocations committed against Azerbaijan after Armenia’s prime minister came to power, the so-called “presidential and parliamentary elections” held by an illegal entity in Karabakh, the announcement that Armenia will move some administrative buildings to Shusha, the ancient city and cultural center of Azerbaijan, as well as about the illegal settlement of Armenians from Syria and Lebanon in the occupied Azerbaijani territories.
