Uzbek portals kun.uz and qalampir.uz published articles in the Uzbek language about the meeting of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and first lady Mehriban Aliyeva with the servicemen, who were wounded as a result of Armenia’s military provocations and are currently undergoing treatment at the Central Military Clinical Hospital of the Defense Ministry.
The articles say during the meeting with the servicemen, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that on the day the Armenian armed forces will be withdrawn from Karabakh peace will prevail in those territories.
“The prime minister of Armenia puts forward conditions. He put forward seven conditions to us. I said some time ago that we reject these conditions. We have one condition – they must leave our lands unconditionally, completely and immediately. This condition is still standing, and if the Armenian government fulfills it, the fighting will cease, bloodshed will stop, and there will be peace. Peace will come to our region,” the portals cited the president of Azerbaijan as saying.
The head of state emphasized that the only condition for ending the hostilities is the complete and immediate withdrawal of the Armenian armed forces from Nagorno-Karabakh.
