Settlements in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam come under Armenian fire in the morning (AZERTAC)
Residential settlements in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam district were subjected to heavy artillery fire by Armenian armed forces on the morning of October 30. As a result of the enemy’s shelling, houses, auxiliary buildings, and farms were severely damaged.
Maharram Heydarov, a resident of Aghdam’s Sarichoban village, said that the enemy forces, which are unable to withstand the strength of the Azerbaijani Army, continue to target the civilian population.
“It was around 6 a.m., we were sleeping at home. We woke up to the sound of a loud explosion. When we went outside, I saw that the water tank had been punctured. It turned out that the projectile fell into our yard. My brother's house and auxiliary building, which is nearby, were heavily damaged. With its terrorist attacks, the enemy wants to intimidate us. But let them know that they will not be able to achieve their insidious intentions,” Heydarov said.
Ahmadaghali is one of the villages sentenced to intensive fire by Armenian troops. Today, in the morning, the village came under Armenian artillery fire. As a result, the house and farm owned by villager Mahammad Guliyev were damaged. “Our village was fired upon in the morning. As a result of the shell explosion, one of the cattle in the barn was killed and 10 were injured. The barn was destroyed and the house was damaged,” Guliyev noted.
Eyvaz Allahverdiyev said that residents are not afraid of enemy provocations.
“The enemy fires at our village almost every day. Our village was fired upon this morning. In total, more than 10 shells fell on the territory of the village. There are ruins. But this does not bother us. Our only wish is for our army to win, to liberate our lands from the Armenian occupation,” he added.
