Guliyev family from Amirvarli village dreams of holding wedding parties for their children in their ancestral lands (AZERTAC)
Residents of Jabrayil’s Amirvarli village, who are currently residing in a settlement intended for IDPs in Bilasuvar district, rejoiced over the liberation of their native lands from the Armenian occupied.
Amirvarli is one of Jabrayil's villages that was liberated during the victory march launched by the glorious Azerbaijani Army in order to suppress the enemy provocation. Families from the village have different dreams that they look forward to with hope and faith. The dream of the Guliyev family, who is waiting for the return to their native village, is to hold a wedding celebration in their native village.
Nazila Guliyeva, a resident of Amirvarli village, said that 27 years of tears of sadness have been replaced by tears of joy.
“The liberation of our village from the Armenian occupation is the greatest gift for us. We are now looking forward to returning to those lands. When I heard the news about the liberation of our village, I felt like I was born again. We had bittersweet memories in that village. Armenian fascists displaced us from our homeland. Nevertheless, I always had hope that we would return to that land. I've always dreamed of arranging wedding parties for her child in her ancestral lands. This is already coming true,” Guliyeva added.
On October 19, the Azerbaijani Army liberated the village of Amirvarli village from the Armenian occupation.
