Death toll from Armenia’s another missile attack on Azerbaijan’s Barda rises to 21 (AZERTAC)
On October 28, the Armenian armed forces continued to commit war crimes, again firing Smerch missiles on civilians in Azerbaijan’s Barda city.
On October 28, at around 1 p.m., the Armenia armed armed forces using cluster bombs prohibited by international law launched attacks at densely populated areas of Barda district, where trade facilities are located.
As a result of the attacks, 21 civilians were killed and nearly 70 civilians were wounded. Civil infrastructure facilities and vehicles were extensively damaged.
Meanwhile, a civilian injured as a result of Armenia’s shelling of Garayusifli village of Barda district on October 27 today died at the hospital.
Given the current situation, all possible investigative measures are underway to clarify the list of casualties.
Armenia keeps ignoring the ceasefire. The joint statement in Moscow on October 10, the re-announcement of the commitment through the mediation efforts of Paris on October 18, and the agreement on an emergency humanitarian ceasefire in Washington on October 24 were grossly violated by Armenia.
